Hickory Council approves contract for new airport hangar

The Hickory City Council approved a $1.9 million contract to replace the two hangars at the Hickory Regional Airport that were destroyed by a tornado in October 2017.

The contract with Moss Marlow Building Co. for a 32,000-square-foot hangar was approved unanimously as part of the council’s consent agenda.
